Terms of Service
Terms for document recognition, credits, and acceptable use.
Last updated: 2026-10-28
The service
The website provides an independent document recognition application based on OpenBMB MiniCPM-OCR. It is not operated by or affiliated with OpenBMB or ModelBest. You can preview example documents in the browser. Choosing Recognize uploads your file for processing.
The free experience is one document of up to 3 pages and does not require an account. Additional pages use credits: one credit per page. Current launch prices are 50% of the planned standard prices shown crossed out. Your subscription renews at its displayed launch rate until cancelled. Plans are Pro at $19/month or $190/year for 4,000 pages each month, Business at $79/month or $790/year for 20,000 pages each month, and Enterprise at $299/month or $2,990/year for 80,000 pages each month. Monthly allowances expire at the end of the allowance month and do not roll over. Annual plans release that allowance monthly, not all at once, and renew until cancelled. This site does not sell a developer API. Official model and SDK links are resources for running the model yourself. Enterprise service levels beyond these hosted limits require a separate agreement.
Your documents
Only upload documents you have the right to use. Do not upload material you are not allowed to send to a document processor. Images may be up to 24 MiB. An unlocked PDF may be up to 64 MiB and 500 pages. One file is processed at a time.
Results
Recognition can omit or misread text, tables, formulas, and layout. Example documents illustrate the workspace and are not a measure of accuracy. Review every result before you rely on it. Edits you make in the workspace are included when you export Markdown, JSON, or Word.
A failed or cancelled recognition restores the page credits or the free receipt. Completed pages in a failed document are not billed.
The model
The MiniCPM-OCR model, code, and documentation in the official OpenBMB repository are available under their Apache 2.0 terms. Refer to the official repository. Linked third-party services have their own terms.
Availability
The service is provided as is, without a guarantee of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Limits, pricing, and features can change. Checkout can be unavailable while payments are being configured. The free document experience remains the public starting point.
