Who operates this site

This is an independent document recognition service built around the open MiniCPM-OCR model from OpenBMB. It is not operated by, or affiliated with, OpenBMB or ModelBest.

Documents you choose to recognize

Selecting a file creates a preview in this browser. Example documents are prepared samples and are not uploaded.

Choosing Recognize sends that file through our server to ModelBest at api.modelbest.cn. The provider credential stays on the server. Uploaded originals are held in private Cloudflare R2 storage with a 24-hour expiration rule; physical deletion follows the provider's lifecycle schedule. Task status and recognized text can be accessed for 24 hours. Expired task records are removed by scheduled or upload maintenance. We do not provide a long-term document archive. ModelBest applies its own retention rules to the file it receives.

This browser can keep the current file locally for up to 24 hours so a refresh can restore the session. New document clears that local copy.

Free allowance, accounts, and plans

The free experience is one document of up to 3 pages. The server stores a one-time receipt for this browser and, on Cloudflare or a configured proxy, the network address. It does not require an account.

An optional account stores your email, session, subscription, and page-credit balance. One credit recognizes one page. Paid plans grant a monthly page allowance. Unused pages expire at the end of that allowance month and do not roll over. Annual plans release the allowance monthly. A failed or cancelled document restores the credit or the free receipt. Payment, when enabled, is handled by the configured payment provider. Plans renew until cancelled. We store the order and the credits granted. We do not store full card numbers.

Other processing

The hosting provider processes ordinary request data, such as IP address and user agent, to deliver the site. Public OCR pages do not add advertising trackers. Opening an official model or documentation link is subject to that site's own policy.
